Sheriff’s Department to Host Blood Drive

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Here’s your chance to make a difference in the life of someone you don’t even know. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross Tuesday from 8am to 5pm. You can donate at the Lexington County James R. Metts Law Enforcement Complex. The sheriff says people are depending on your help because of a critical blood shortage across the country. Since 2006, blood drives conducted by the sheriff’s department have resulted in the donation of more than 1,000 units.
