Poll Shows Gun Law Support

WASHINGTON (AP) – The latest poll of American attitudes about gun control would seem to favor President Barack Obama as he unveils today a wide-ranging package of steps for reducing gun violence. The Associated Press-GfK poll suggests that nearly six in 10 Americans want stricter gun laws following the Connecticut school shootings. A huge majority favors closing the gun show loophole on background checks.
