Coroner: Fisherman drowned in Lake Murray

BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. (AP) — The Saluda County coroner says a fisherman whose body was found in Lake Murray drowned.

WIS-TV reported (http://bit.ly/10vRYkD ) that the county coroner identified the man as 33-year-old Jason Lee Rinehart.

Dive teams recovered his body Monday.

Capt. Robert McCullough with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources says witnesses reported seeing the man fall into the water Sunday while fishing in front of his house on Beaver Dam Creek Road.

Dive teams resumed their search for the body Monday morning after calling it off Sunday night because of hypothmeria concerns.

The boat and a paddle were found in the water. A life jacket was found in the boat.
