Columbia Officials Close Road Thursday Morning

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Ice could cause some issues for drivers Thursday in Downtown Columbia, but it has nothing to do with mother nature. The city’s street division is taking apart the temporary skating rink in the morning. It will affect portions of Hampton Street between Main and Assembly Streets, starting at 9. The work is expected to last about an hour.
