Ice Thawing in Downtown Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – There is not much left of the winter fun in Downtown Columbia. Crews are working to clear Boyd Plaza over the next few days. Thursday morning, they dismantled “Main Street Ice.” The temporary skating rink attracted more than 15,000 people since opening Thanksgiving Day. Officials say plans are already in the works to take a spin around the ice next year.
