Teen Charged in Recent String of Fires

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) – Police say a 13-year-old boy is responsible for a recent string of fires in Sumter. They damaged two homes on Sampson Street Friday along with a vacant property on Walker Street Saturday. The teen is currently being held at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice Detention Center. He faces arson and burglary charges.
