Graham Calls for President to Help Jailed Pastor

Columbia, SC (WOLO)–Senator Lindsey Graham is calling on President Obama to take the lead in the effort to free an American pastor jailed in Iran for practicing Christianity. In a letter to the president, Senator Graham asks that he call for the unconditional release of Saeed Abedini. Saeed Abedini, an American pastor of Iranian decent, was sentenced to 8 years in prison earlier this week for what the Iranian government claims was an attempt to undermine their authority by creating a network of Christian churches in private homes.
