Arrest Made in 2011 Greenville County Deaths
TAYLORS, S.C. (AP) _ A North Carolina man has been charged in the 2011 deaths of two people found after a fire in a Greenville County home. Deputies say Manuel Nicolas Granados of Swannanoa, N.C., was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder. Authorities say Granados shot 30-year-old Christopher Porcoro of Taylors and 18-year-old Amber Christine Daniel of Greer and then set Porcoro’s house on fire to cover up the deaths. Porcoro and Daniel were found in the burning home in April 2011. Authorities say they have also recovered the gun used to kill the pair. Granados was expected to have a bond hearing later Tuesday, and it wasn’t known if he had an attorney.
