Carter Resigns As SC State Hoops Coach

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) — After a 24-game MEAC losing streak, Tim Carter has resigned as the head basketball coach at SC State. The university announced Carter’s resignation Wednesday night. Carter was in his fifth season at SC State. He had a record of 67-108. The Bulldogs haven’t won a conference game since 2010. Associate head coach Murray Garvin will assume the head coaching duties until further notice, according to Bulldog athletics director Charlene Johnson.
