Four Children Transported Following Bus Accident

Columbia, SC (WOLO)–Four children taken to the hospital after an accident involving a school bus. Columbia Police say just before 3pm Monday afternoon a truck ran into the back of a Richland 1 school bus at the intersection of Veterans Rd. and Coatesdale Rd. near Interstate-77. Four children who attend Meadowfield Elementary were transported. The extent of their injuries is not known. The driver of the truck was also transported. Police say she is likely to be charged.
