Repo men find woman shot in West Columbia

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say two men repossessing a car in West Columbia found a woman who had been shot in the street.

Lexington County deputies say paramedics took the 43-year-old woman to a hospital Wednesday night where she died a short time later. Her name has not been released because her family has not been notified.

Authorities say the woman was shot in the chest. They are still trying to figure out a motive for the killing and identify any suspects.
