Half-naked woman arrested at SC Statehouse

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a woman was charged with disorderly conduct after she took off most of her clothes during an anti-litter rally at the Statehouse.

Investigators say 42-year-old Monica Dixon was wearing only a bra and panties when she was arrested around noon Tuesday.

Video from WIS-TV (http://bit.ly/17EGo8q ) shows the half-naked woman quietly walking toward the Statehouse steps during a Zero Tolerance for Litter event.

Dixon was arrested by Bureau of Protective Services officers without a fight. Officials don’t know why she interrupted the event. An officer is seen on the video picking up her clothes and purse as she was led away in handcuffs.

Officials did not have an address for Dixon and did not know if she had a lawyer.
