Man charged with murder in West Columbia shooting

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Lexington County deputies have a suspect in the shooting death of a 43-year-old woman last week in West Columbia.

Investigators have charged 24-year-old John Hart with murder in the shooting Wednesday of Paula Justice, who was found wounded by two men repossessing a car.

Deputies say Justice was meeting with Hart when she was shot. They did not say what that meeting was about.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help to find Hart.
