Update: Suspicious Package Found In Downtown Columbia

(WOLO) Columbia, SC-Investigators say the suspicious package found in the shrubbery of a church at the intersection of Main and Laurel Streets has turned out to be clothing and miscellaneous items . Police tell us they destroyed the package of non-harmful materials. Laurel Street between Sumter and Assembly streets and Assembly Street between Blanding and Richland Streets have re-opened.
