Former Gamecock DiMarco Signed By Atlanta Falcons

COLUMBIA (WOLO) — The Atlanta Falcons have signed former Gamecock Patrick DiMarco. The Kansas City Chiefs cut him after they acquired two fullbacks in the 2013 NFL Draft. DiMarco joined the Chiefs last season as a free agent and was promoted from the practice team to the starting lineup by the end of the season. He played in five games with four starts. DiMarco was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers as a college free agent after the 2011 NFL Draft. DiMarco played both fullback and tight end for the Gamecocks, seeing action in 52 career games.
