Columbia set to host summit on healthy living

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The City of Columbia is promoting healthy living habits during a meeting.

The second Healthy Living Summit is scheduled for Wednesday at the Drew Wellness Center.

Organizers say there will be a panel discussion and informational displays on topics including disease management, bicycle safety and bullying. There will also be information on family lifestyle changes and community resources.

Representatives from organizations like the American Diabetes Association and Safe Routes to School are also expected to be on hand.
