A Look At Georgia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — This weekend the Gamecocks will be heading to Athens to take on SEC rival Georgia.  While USC is coming of a 27-10 win over North Carolina, the Bulldogs are coming off a 38-35 loss to the Clemson Tigers. 

Last week, Georgia senior quaterback Aaron Murray threw for 323 yards on 20 of 29 passing with 1 interception. 

Georgia’s running due of Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall amassed 197 yards on 28 carries and 3 touchdowns.  Individually Gurley had154 yards and 2 TDs on 12 carries while Marshall ran the ball 16 times for 43 yards and a score. 

The Dawgs had two receivers with 60 or more yards.  The first was Chris Conley, who was the leading receiver in yards with 67 yards on 3 receptions. The other receiver was Michael Bennett who lead the team in receptions with 5 for a total of 60 yards. 

The Georgia defense allowed 38 points and 467 total yards (270 passing yards and 197 rushing yards.)

The game between the Gamecocks and Bulldogs will be at 4:30 and air on ESPN.
