Clemson Puts New Protective Case Around Howard’s Rock

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson has installed a new protective case to keep Howard’s Rock safe between games.
The new case replaced an old plexiglass cover that was not enough to keep vandals from stealing a piece of the rock last June.
In August, three people were charged in connection to the vandalism.
Micah Rogers, 18, was charged with malicious injury to property, trespassing and unlawful entry into enclosed places in the case.
Michah’s father Michael J. Rogers and friend Alden James Gainey were each charged with felony counts of conspiracy and obstructing justice.
