Lanning’s TD Pass Helps Browns Beat Vikings

(WOLO) — Former Gamecock Spencer Lanning’s 11-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Cameron on a fake field goal helped the Cleveland Browns beat the Minnesota Vikings 31-27.
Lanning, Cleveland’s punter and holder on field goals, also punted five times in the game for a season-best average of 46.8 yards per punt.
The Rock Hiil native also kicked the extra point on Cleveland’s game-clinching touchdown with :51 left in the game to help seal former Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski’s first win as a head coach.
Lanning is the first player in the NFL since 1968 to throw a touchdown pass, kick an extra point and punt in the same game.
