Man Critically Injured in Downtown Columbia Crash

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A moped driver is in critical condition after police say he ran off the road and struck a telephone pole in Downtown Columbia.

It happened around 4pm Monday in the 1600 block of Blossom Street.

Officers are still trying to figure out what caused the crash.
