Michigan Bound Plane Returns to SC After Smoke Smell

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ A Delta flight bound for Detroit has returned to Greenville after a report of the smell of smoke inside the plane.
Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport spokeswoman Rosylin Weston says Delta 6168 left the airport Wednesday and someone reported the smell of smoke shortly after takeoff.
First responders met the 50-seat plane at Greenville-Spartanburg at 1 p.m. Weston says there was no fire, and authorities didn’t immediately discover the source of the smoke smell.
Weston says there were a total of 41 passengers and crew members onboard at the time. No injuries were reported.
