Stafford to Enter Plea in Death of SCDOT Worker

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – An alleged drunk driver is back in Lexington County court.

Thomas Stafford is expected to enter a plea Thursday. We do not know what that plea will be.

Last December, authorities say he struck a South Carolina Department of Transportation worker on Interstate 20 and fled the scene.

Members from Stafford’s and the victim’s family are expected to attend.
