Swinney: “Grandmas Flipped Me The Finger” When Playing On Road In SEC

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — On Tuesday Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney shared with the media some of his fondest memories from playing on the road in college.
Swinney played at Alabama and said he loved the hostility of the environments on the road.
He recalled trips to Baton Rouge, where he said grandmas would flip him the finger and fans would lift up their shirts and shout things at him.
“They used to call me skinny Swinney and I loved it. I thought that was great,” he said.
