Tighter Restrictions at Fair Entrance Gates

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The South Carolina State Fair is drawing quite the crowd.
Officials say they want to make sure you have a fun but safe time.
So, they’re implementing tighter restrictions at entrance gates.
Starting Wednesday night, everyone – under the age of 18 – must be accompanied by a parent who’s 21 or older to be admitted after 7pm.
You may be required to show a valid ID.
Officials also say they have a long-standing policy.
It allows them to refuse admission to individuals who are wearing clothing or accessories that are deemed “offensive” or “gang-related.”
