COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The bigger the game, the smaller the press conference for Steve Spurrier. Tuesday the Ball Coach talked for less than 20 minutes at his weekly press conference previewing Saturday’s SEC opener at Georgia.
The Bulldogs dropped to #11 in the newest AP Top 25 Poll. Georgia went into last Saturday’s season opener at Clemson ranked #5. The Tigers jumped from #8 to #4 in the new AP poll.
The Gamecocks stayed at #6 in the country. For the first time in school history, USC is on a 3-game winning streak in the series with Georgia. The last three games in Athens between the Bulldogs and Gamecocks have been decided by four points or less.
