48-Year-Old Man Shot to Death in Florence Home

   FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say a 48-year-old Timmonsville man whose teenage son was killed by a man five years ago has been shot to death in Florence.

   Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken said David Jenkins’ body was found around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

   Deputies say neighbors reported hearing a gun shot, and then saw two men drive away from the home in a pickup truck.

   Authorities say Jenkins’ 17-year-old son was stabbed and beaten to death by a man who wanted to create his own gang in 2008. The teen’s body was left in the wall of an abandoned building for a month.
