Benedict Hoops Wins Home Opener

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Benedict opened the home portion of the 2013-14 season with a 61-54 win over Nova Southeastern Monday night in a division two men’s basketball game at Mays Arena.
Alex Brailsford had a game-high 15 points and 8 rebounds for Benedict (2-0). Andrew Crawford added 14 points.
Nova Southeastern, from Ft. Lauderdale, fell to 0-4 on the season.
