SC Democratic women’s group holding fall forum

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) âone space€one space” U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn is among the speakers scheduled to address a gathering of Democratic women this weekend.

On Saturday, the South Carolina Democratic Women’s Council is holding its fall forum at the Clarion Hotel in Columbia.

U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., and Manning Mayor Julia Nelson are also slated to speak to the group. Organizers say the council strives to support women in politics.
