Shopping Local for Christmas

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., —

It was a rainy start to the weekend, but it didn’t keep area shoppers inside the house as they checked items off of their Christmas List.

more than 20 retailers in Five Points kept their doors open a little later Saturday to offer customers a chance to take advantage of door buster deals and keep their money local.

The deals weren’t the only surprises on hand. Good ole Saint Nick even stopped by to greet shoppers as they made their way around area stores.
