Teen Hit in Wrist by Stray Bullet Near SC School

  GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say a Goose Creek High School cheerleader sitting in bleachers near the football field was hit in the wrist by a stray bullet.
 
   Berkeley County deputies say the 14-year-old girl didn’t realize she had been shot Tuesday afternoon until X-rays found the bullet. She is expected to recover.
 
   Investigators say they don’t know where the bullet came from, but they think it was fired off-campus.
 
   Deputies say the girl told them she was sitting in the bleachers during practice when she felt a painful, hard slap to her wrist and It started bleeding.
 
   Authorities say there will be extra officers at the school this week as the investigation continues
