Wideman Switches From FSU To USC

(WOLO) — Saluda High School defensive end Dexter Wideman switched his college commitment from Florida State to South Carolina. The four star prospect made the announcement at his school Wednesday afternoon on National Signing Day. Wideman verbally committed to the Seminoles last summer, but, ultimately, staying in state to play for the Gamecocks was more important to the Saluda standout than going to play for the defending national champions.
