W. Columbia Woman Killed in Train Accident

Savannah, GA. (WOLO, CNN)–A West Columbia woman was killed in a train accident while working on a movie in southeast Georgia. The Wayne County Coroner’s Office tells ABC Columbia News that Sarah Jones of West Columbia was killed in an accident while filming “Midnight Rider,” a movie about the life of musician Gregg Allman. Investigators say the train struck Jones, sending debris flying in all directions. Seven other people, all crew members, were taken to a hospital with injuries. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
