Assessing Senior Health In South Carolina

Columbia, SC (WOLO)-South Carolina is receiving its marks for just how healthy its seniors are. Today, The United Health Foundation announced its second america‘s health rankings senior report. the palmetto state ranks 34th, five spots below last year. The rankings are based on several factors, including the percentage of food insecurity, prescription drug coverage and the availability of home health care workers. Minnesota tops the list while Mississippi received the lowest score.
