CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson Athletic Director Dan Radakovich released a statement about the baseball program and head coach Jack Leggett Sunday afternoon. “This baseball season did not end as we all had hoped. I will be speaking with Jack in the next few days to talk about the path ahead for our program. While we again advanced to the NCAA tournament, we can and will look to do more.” Clemson (36-25) finished the 2014 season with an 18-1 loss to Oregon and a 6-4 loss to Xavier in the Nashville Regional, going two-and-out in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 27 appearances. “Am I fully confident that I’ll be back coaching next year?” Leggett said, responding to a question after the Tigers were eliminated from the Nashville Regional Saturday. “I’d like to think that’s a ridiculous question. I’ve coached for 21 years and a track record that’s pretty good. So I’m sure we’ll sit down and talk about it.”
