Pharmacist Accused of Attacking Customer

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced the arrest of 42 year old Prabir Kumar Saha, charged with criminal sexual conduct 1st degree. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Saha was arrested on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2300 Decker Boulevard (Rite-Aid), Columbia 29223. The Sheriff stated that the victim went to the business to fill a prescription, Saha, an employee, who worked as a pharmacist filled the prescription for the victim. The Sheriff stated that the victim went into the restroom to apply the medication; Saha entered the restroom and sexually assaulted her. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the victim immediately left the business and reported the incident to law enforcement. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that if you have been a victim of Saha or know of anyone that has been to please contact the Sheriff‘s Department. The Sheriff stated that that the time frame of the incident is not a factor, getting you the proper care and assistance is. Saha has transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
