Boil water advisory for some Richland County residents

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Some residents in Richland County are having issues with their water. The City of Columbia Water Works has issued a boil water advisory for customers along Gracern Road, Candi Lane, Rivermont Drive and Wildlife Parkway. Officials say it’s because of a valve repair on a 24-inch water main. It could have possibly caused contamination. So, you’re asked to boil your water for at least one minute – prior to cooking or drinking – until further notice.
