DSS focus of another oversight hearing

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina’s Department of Social Services will be in the hot seat again Wednesday morning. A sub-committee oversight hearing is scheduled. You’ll recall these meeting have been going on for months now, following reports of child deaths and overloaded case workers. Earlier this year, Lillian Koller stepped down as director of DSS.
