Boil water advisory for some West Columbia residents

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A broken water line is causing some issues in the City of West Columbia. Officials have issued a boil water advisory until further notice. It’s affecting the following areas: “¢ Both sides of North Lake Drive (U.S. Hwy 6) from Whiteford Subdivision to Andrew Corley Road (residents in Whiteford Subdivision are not affected). “¢ All addresses on Andrew Corley Road to Midway Road. “¢ All addresses on Midway Road to Hope Ferry Road (including residents in Kenwood Subdivision) Residents are asked to boil their water a full minute prior to cooking or drinking.
