Citations Issued For Allegedly Serving Alcohol To Minors

Columbia, SC (WOLO)-Several North Columbia convenience stores have been cited for allegedly providing alcohol to minors. Columbia police along with S.L.E.D. conducted undercover operations over the weekend at half a dozen stores along North Main Street, Monticello, Farrow and Fairfield Roads. Six store clerks were given citations, and in at least one case, police say a clerk allegedly asked for proper identification, but still sold alcohol to the minor.
