Hit And Run Anniversary. Reward Offered

Columbia, SC (WOLO)-Tusday marks an anniversary in a local nurse’s hit and run. Columbia Police say Lindsay Bires, a cardiac nurse at Palmetto Health Richland … was standing on the sidewalk on medical park drive during a break from work… when she was hit by a white, compact car. According to witnesses, the car ran off the side of the road at least twice before making impact with Bires. The driver did not stop, but police say two nearby co-workers did. Investigators are offering 25-thousand dollars for any information leading to an arrest. Police are also reaching out to people who may have been visiting Columbia from Birmingham, Alabama. The weekend Bires was hit, U.S.C. played against U.A.B.
