3 Women Robbed at Gunpoint

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Columbia Police Department is investigating an armed robbery near USC’S campus. The crime occurred at the 1800 block of Greene Street at approximately 11:00pm Thursday. The women told officers that while they were walking, they were approached by possibly three men who demanded money and stole their belongings. Police say the suspects ran from the scene. The victims were not injured. Officers are working to see if security cameras captured the incident on video.
