Richland sheriff’s group putting on yard sale

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is inviting the community to a yard sale.

On Saturday, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Citizens Academy Alumni Association is hosting a sale at the North Springs Recreation Center parking lot on Clemson Road.

Items up for grabs include clothes, appliances, toys, books and furniture. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Foundation, and anyone with items to donate can drop them off the morning of the sale.
