CVS Armed Robbery
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Columbia Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect. According to investigators, the crime occurred at CVS Pharmacy at 3595 Harden Street Extension. Officers said the suspect, described as a white male, entered the store just before 9:00 p.m. Saturday, and pointed a handgun at employees and at least one customer. The suspect is accused of making the victims get down on the floor. Police said the suspect first demanded access to the pharmacy, but that area was closed. Officers said he then demanded over-the-counter medicine and money. No one was hurt in the robbery. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark shirt with blue jeans, a blue handkerchief around his neck, sunglasses, and a reddish ‘doo-rag’ on his head. He also had a black, or dark brown mustache.
