1 dead, 1 hurt in separate Eutawville shootings

EUTAWVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Orangeburg County deputies say a fatal shooting in Eutawville and another shooting a quarter-mile away are related.

The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office said 37-year-old Ty Jenkins was found dead in his yard around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A short time later, deputies responded to a house about a quarter-mile away where a man had been shot and taken to the hospital.

Investigators don’t have a motive or suspects in either shooting.
