Warrants released in SC case where 5 kids killed

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Search warrants say a man charged with killing his five children in South Carolina bought items used to destroy and dispose of human remains at a Wal-Mart.
The search warrants were released by Lexington County deputies after a Freedom of Information Act request from The Associated Press.
They don’t shed new light on the case against Timothy Jones. The warrants requesting permission to search Jones’ house say a Wal-Mart receipt for the products was found in Jones’ SUV when he was arrested in Mississippi last month.
The warrants say a number of typical household items, like hairbrushes, toothbrushes, bed linens and cups were taken from the home. The warrants don’t detail what police were looking for.
Prosecutors say Jones killed his children and drove around with their bodies for days.
