Beasley Sets Clemson Sack Record

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — It wasn’t how Hollywood would script it, but Vic Beasley probably doesn’t mind a bit. Beasley broke the Clemson career sack record in the 2nd quarter against Louisville. The senior defensive end’s 29th career sack came after he brought down Louisville QB Reggie Bonnafon 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage on a 1st down run/pass option play. Beasley came into the game tied with Michael Dean Perry and the late Gaines Adams for the school sack record.
