Author Ron Rash speaks at USC Hollings Library

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Ron Rash, the author of the 2009 best-seller “Serena,” is reading from his work and speaking with students at the University of South Carolina.
The event is being held Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Thomas Cooper Library at the University of South Carolina.
The lecture and reading are free and open to the public.
Rash’s novel was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and on The New York Times best seller list.
Rash’s appearance is part of the Fall Literary Festival that is sponsored by the English department and USC Libraries.
