Spurrier Prepares For Tennessee

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Steve Spurrier went out of his way at his weekly press conference Tuesday to point out the entire Gamecock football team, not just the beleaguered Carolina defense, was responsible to last Saturday’s 42-35 loss at then #5 Auburn. But when asked later in the press conference if any of his past defenses have struggled as much as his current defense, Spurrier admitted he couldn’t think of one. USC (4-4 overall, 2-4 SEC) will host Tennessee (3-5, 0-4 SEC) Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. The game will air on the SEC Network.
