Voluntary recall on macadamia nuts

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – You may want to check your pantry before baking or grabbing a snack. Marathon Centure Inc. announced it’s voluntarily recalling various packages that contain raw macadamia nuts. Officials say they could be contaminated with salmonella. The items were sold at grocery stores and other retailers nationwide after March 11th, 2014. Target carries one of the brands that is affected, Market Pantry. The other include: -Shurfine -Western Family -HyVee -Pear‘s Gourmet -Cash-Wa Distributing -Pegler Sysco -Mayan Gold
