Gamecocks & Gators Go To Half Tied 10-10

The South Carolina Gamecocks are tied with Florida Gators 10-10 at the half. The Gamecocks got on the board first on their opening drive thanks to a 20-yard touchdown by Brandon Wilds to cap off a three minute 85-yard drive. After forcing Florida to go three and out on their opening drive, Gamecocks would add to their lead thanks to an Elliot Fry 31-yard field goal. While the first quarter was all South Carolina, the second quarter was dominated by Florida. Behind some solid running from Treon Harris and Matt Jones, the Gators knocked in a 34-yard field goal to cut the Gamecock lead to seven. Florida would tie the game up just before the half driving 50 yards in one minute for a Treon Harris 11-yard touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson. The touchdown pass was only Harris’s second of the game. Brandon Wilds carried 10 times for 31 yards and a touchdown. Mike Davis sprained his right shoulder on the first play of the game and saw limited action since then. Dylan Thompson is 11 of 16 for 107 yards. Treon Harris completed two of four passes for 19 yards and a touchdown. He carried the ball six times for 50 yards on the ground.
